In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful. All thanks and praise belong to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our beloved Prophet, his household, companions and upon those who followed their path till the day of resurrection. After that;

This is the continuation and final article on the remaining elements of the society through which gatherings are manifested in Islam.

5- Seasons and Occasions: In Islam we have seasonal gatherings; such as pilgrimage, Eid festivals and so on, as we have mentioned in our previous article, and occasional gatherings; such as marriages, burial ceremonies and visiting holy sites and historical places. Where in people come together, do things in common and share common interest. All these are mentioned in Islam including their values, ethics and peculiarities. The scholars have written many detailed books on these issues.

6- Employment: The employment we mean here is the social aspect of it, I mean the peculiarities of those around the leader or boss, his rights upon them, their rights upon him, and the advantages of the judge and those around him who help him in his affairs, and all other particulars attached to State meetings.

7- Conventional meetings: Islam focused great attention to building relations and associations between people in terms of it nature, ethics, procedures, and other peculiarities. Because these relations and associations bring people together and make them gather in one place for the achievement of their goals and needs.

Allah said in the Qur’an:

{And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided} (Qur’an 3:103).

{Indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me} (Qur’an 21:92).

{So fear Allah and amend that which is between you} (Qur’an 8:1).

That’s why scholars have written special books on it, such as (the book of Association).

8- The Army: Islam has treated the army from the social point of view, when they are at home and when they are travelling, and their ethics, and the way they should obey their commander, and the cooperation of their commander with them. As mentioned in the book of Jihad in Islamic jurisprudence.

9- Finally, Islam has defined the rights of the ruler over the people, the rights of the people over the ruler, and the relationship between them which is so-called "Sociology".

Allah said in the Qur’an:

{O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result} (Qur’an 4:59).

And 'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) supplicating in her house saying:

[O Allah! Treat harshly those who rule over my Ummah with harshness, and treat gently those who rule over my Ummah with gentleness] (Recorded by Muslim book 1, Hadith 655).

Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him said) said:

[If a person notices in his ruler what he dislikes, he should show patience because he who departs from the (Muslim) community a cubit, dies like those who died in the Days of Ignorance] (Agreed upon by Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

Islam has preceded others to this in a way that no addition can be brought to it.

Therefore, gathering in Islam has the following advantages:

Firstly: Complete righteousness in all its aspects.

Secondly: Full confidence among its members.

Thirdly: Utmost peace and tranquillity to the largest extent.

All these are based on the active guidance of the Islamic teachings that are well planned and explained, which guide and direct people to it, in order to work in accordance to it for those who want to live a happy life.
